Dan received his Eagle in October of 2003.  For his Eagle project, Dan chose to repaint the bleachers at the football field in North Baltimore.  The project involved coordination of more than two dozen individuals and more than 470 total man-hours to complete.  Dan's efforts demonstrated "Citizenship in the Community" and provided the local school system with a much needed improvement with no financial support requested of the school board.  Dan secured material and financial donations to completely cover the costs of the project.   A photo scrapbook documents the work effort of Dan's project.
